TEHRAN – Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) is the mother of all righteousness and women are the manifestation of divine charity and mercy, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a message read at the Kowsar Film Festival here last week.

The preservation of the role of the family, pivoting around mothers, helps maintain the security of the society, the message read, adding that introducing such a noble exemplar as Hazrat Fatima (SA) in all the different aspects of life familiarizes people with the truths and beauties of a (perfect) woman.
Iranian actresses are dedicating their bodies and souls to help breed an honorable generation, at the same time receiving very little consideration. Other artists who are acquainted with the problems of the women’s acting profession are duty-bound to become the forerunners in introducing the realities and difficulties which are hidden behind the shiny exterior of the world of our actresses, the message read.
“Women are the manifestation of divine charity and mercy; all love and affection is found personified in mothers”, it read, adding “if there were no maternal love, what would be the destiny of human beings and how much acrimony and aggression would be created?”
The family is the center of love and tenderness and it is the school of dedication, devotion and affection which all pivot around the figure of the mother, it said, “today we observe oppression and insecurity in communities and the warmth of families is becoming cold as women and mothers are gradually giving up their real role.
In fact, the preservation and improvement of women’s and mothers’ roles helps create friendship and brotherhood between people, and as a result it provides the security in society that eventually flows outwards to produce global peace and security.”
